About Andrew Martin Consulting
I help owner-managed businesses understand their numbers, improve visibility, and plan ahead with confidence. Just as importantly, I’m a trusted sounding board — someone to listen, advise, and provide practical support as challenges and opportunities arise.
With more than 20 years’ experience working closely with businesses, I provide tailored cash flow forecasting, management accounts, budgeting and practical financial support to suit each client’s needs. The level of detail, modelling and reporting varies from business to business, but the aim is always to give owners clearer insight, better information and greater confidence in decision-making. I work with and support in-house accounting teams where they exist, as well as assisting businesses with limited or no internal accounting support or direction. I liaise with each client’s chosen external accountancy firm so that internal reporting and forecasting complement the wider advice they provide. It is important that businesses receive timely and proactive tax planning advice, to enable where appropriate, the opportunity to legitimately mitigate such liabilities.
I am most frequently referred to clients by accountancy firms and banks, although many business owners also approach me directly.

I am looking to be introduced to owner-managed and smaller businesses that would benefit from clearer financial information, cashflow management and better forward planning.
I work across many sectors, with particularly strong experience in agriculture, landed estates and the motor trade. I welcome introductions to any business needing support with management reporting, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, accounting software decisions, business planning, or funding and lending discussions.

This can create referral opportunities across a wide range of professional and business support services, including accountancy and audit, banking, legal and financial services, IT and communications, bookkeeping, marketing, design and web support, and HR and recruitment.
